I will also use Karaya Spandau's and Microsculpt "Streaky camo".

First stage: removing the plastic parts from the sprue, and here you have what is needed in plastic for a triplane...

The photoetch, the masks and the decals (in the background, other decals that I have in stock - I'm not decided yet for the decoration)

Here are the plastic parts (x2, of course: there are two aircrafts in the box)

I'm starting a new project for a GB on a French forum: the Fokker triplane.

Eduard's kit is splendid. I own the combo box...

What I will use in supplement of Eduard's kit is the following: decals provided with Blue Rider little book about Foreign D.VII. When the book was on sale you have to choose between the 1/72 or the 1/48 decal sheet, that is represented on the 2nd photo. I will build the "thistle" (2nd aircraft on the third photo). For the losenges, I will use Microsculpt ones and for the ribs, the Eagle Strike ones or simply the Eduard ones...

I was feeling good enough today to make a short sitting and to work a little bit on my DH2. Seems perheaps few work, but good one, with photoetched parts that will replace plastic ones...

I was thinking that GB will start later in the year... No problem anyway, I will jump into soon!

Same boxkit as you, Samuraj, but with a Belgian deco.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I'm building my model as it would have been after relatively little service in the combat zone. The sun surely faded the paint, especially that khaki color, to a lighter shade after a bit of exposure.

You're right Scott doing so. Climate in East Indies is surely hot and wet.

Thank you for your answer, Scott. That will be useful for me. I will follow your progress with your Curtiss...

What colors are you using (Tamiya, Humbrol? References?) for that airplane? That could help me grandly for the H-75...
