Thank you mates!

Well, have had good time airbrushing the primer. Before that I did not forget to sand the cowler... ;)

The primer revealed little jointure visible after the antenna, and a "sprue-attach location" on an aileron that was imperfectly sanded. I corrected with cyano for the jointure; sanding; and new airbrushing.

In the process I broke the filter under the fuselage  :-red :-wall :-help but reparation took me less than one minute :-tri

Well, I will take my time on that "obstacle", because there is a difference of dimensions between the rudder and the base on the fuselage.

Sanding will be time-consuming here. Hardly time-consuming...

I'm not sure I have fully understand your question...

For me best way to go is to paint the part, then to place it undr the hood and to avoid that paint will go on that part, to use sponge...

I'm arrived at one of the possible problems with that kit... The rudder is not fitting well on the fuselage. I reinforced the part/fuselage assembly with hard wire. Making the hole provoked a fissure between the two half fuselages, that was repaired with some cyano. Now a long and delicate sanding phase will occur soon...

Resuming the work:

Some Photoetched parts are placed; elements that were sanded are replaced by photoetch + 3D acrylic paint; a little bit of putty is applied.
