Interesting to see that cockpit is closed- I expected to be removed as well pilot is get out or ejected. And this time something for our recce expert  :-razz :-razz

If you read down the forum to the other posts, it looks like a number of pieces of military equipment, i.e. a Hunter and a CVRT (light tank) were purchase, I think the Hunter came from Ebay, and then placed into a lake to be used for underwater drivers. I think that the Hunter canopy was in working order and has been left partly closed so drivers can open it.

Love the 2 Sqn (Written as II(AC) Sqn) Fighter Reconnaissance Mk 10 (FR10)Hunter, my old squadron in Germany in the mid 80's.
II(AC)Sqn flew Hunters in the 60's from RAF Gütersloh. I did contact the owner of the image last year and he gave me permission to use it on my site. Problem being, I still have not had the time to up load it, maybe my next task.
My new job is keeping away from this site and my own  :(
