Warplane Art / Re: Sepecat Jaguar

Problem is that older planes are much better evaluated and better drawings available. Simply to say- I can not find good drawings of modern airplanes. I can do them my self but only if I have blueprints and manual extracts. So I have to do what I have :( Sorry...

Don't be sorry. There is often no other way... But the most important is artwork. If colors and markings are good, the result is good enough to enjoy the view of a profile. I'm sure about that.

You point good- there is no correct drawings. I wanted to find blueprint and use as base but no success. Work on modern types is not easy at all :(

You're right ! It's often easier to work from photos or on "old" planes...

Thank you for info. I know about French use but never enough reliable data.

Do you want some photographs ? (Only for artwork, not publishing).

Hi mate,  :-salut :-salut :-salut

Very nice painting work.
But there is something strange in the shape of uppersurfaces of the wing and engine air intake.

Hi,  :-salut

A nice plane. France's Armée de l'air used 20 Si 204 D, and many other under the designation SNCAN NC-701 Martinet I (185) and NC 702 Martinet II (61) which contrary to what one can read very often, has no relationship with the Si 204 A... The French Navy used 32 NC 701 and 10 NC 702. There has been also civilian users including Air France. Total production was 350.
The 14 first NC 701, although with french instrumentation were powered by genuine German Argus As 411 of 580 ch at take-off. Then, the As 411 became the Snecma 12S with some improvements.

Hi mate, :-salut

It's really beautiful. Bravo !
I feel that i'll buy one... although I have no more place for 1/48 scale kits... But it looks so better than the one of Trimaster, the wings of which are wrong...

I asked this question because, in this case the spinner has the hole. But it's difficult to say it's a Ta 152 C-1... even if it was built to C-1 standards.
I thought you wanted to build a "what if" because it has been said that a unique Ta 152 C-1 reached Stab./JG 301. It seems that, actually, that was a Ta 152 E (Ta 152 H with short wings).
I hope that you have not already filled the spinner's hole.

Hi mates, :-salut

Very nice looking.
One detail : I think that for a Ta 152 C-1 (standard produced !) the spinner is not good. Those with the hole where for prototypes only...

Thank you for those infos, that are confirming me I have to build that kit just for fun...

You're right. Fun is the first thing in building kits.

Hi mates, :-salut

I have this model in progress for a long time... In paralell with the Rafale B. There are many inaccuracies such as the canard surfaces which are too small with their axle at the wrong location. Missile racks (wing tips) are wrong and the twist of the wing is not good. I hesitate to correct all these details and it's the reason why these kits are waiting for completion...

Hi mate, :-salut

Here is a nice kit. Well detailed it seems to be delightful. But, what is the reason for having an extra fin ?
I bought recently Academy's Typhoon, but... it's a not very good kit with an inaccurate outline of the nose impossible to improve ! The motor axle is too low.

Hi mate, :-salut

Very beautiful picture.  :-clap :-clap :-clap
Monogram's Me 262 is perhaps the best replica of this plane...
