Excellent material, you will for sure have great items to do :-ok

Are there other photographs of North Korean Il-10s other than those of Nos "44" and "55" found at kimpo by American troops ?

Amazing work mate!!! You are right, they are Kopro now ;)

Hello :-salut
I learned this fact because I ordered directly to them (In France there is no import of KP kits... :( ) and I received the parcel from Hungary.
I ordered the French (genuine) version of the Bloch MB-200. The first edition of which was the Aero version. I ordered too an Il-10 that I'm building to add it to my Korean war series.

Well, it is my decision to make it closed, I prefer streamlined shape

It's the same for me : I prefer "entirely closed" planes to keep the streamlining.

Good build for a strange plane. It looks very convincing.

Hello,

Very good rendering. Amazing build. Bravo !
The kit is very complete and it's a pity we can see nothing when the fuselage is closed...

Hello  :-salut

Here is my last build, a Polikarpov Po-2 of North Korea during the Korean war. This is the KP kit. It seems that KP is now a Hungarian manufacturer (?).

Other material in attach is the color images and I have no idea of source and reliability (maybe they are colorized images). But most important is first document attached.

That are not colorised pictures. That are dias which were made in 1945 when the Yak-3s of Régiment Normandie-Niémen arrived at Le Bourget. They were the property of (later) Général Joseph Risso, the man you see on a picture as Capitaine Risso. I knew him when I was in the Armée de l'air and had chance to speak with him several times even after I retired. He had been, for a time, the President of the French-Russian fellowship upon Normandie-Niémen. During speakings he learnt me that his Yak-7D (and other Yaks) were "aluminium 21" and not "white 21"... These dias are now the property of the "Service historique de l'armée de l'air" at Vincennes. They were given them by Joseph Risso himself.

Thank you fot this reply. I thought that they were green and grey colors... and I was wrong  :-/
And, I think, Yak-1 were green/brown on uppersurfaces and blue on underside.
I have two kits to build from Mikro (Not the best ones-especially the propeller !) but they render well.

Cheers,

Hello all,

What were the camouflage colors of the Yak-1Ms, especially those of the "Régiment Normandie" ?
Thank you for your replies.

Hi Mate,

Beautiful profiles. I think that the inscription on the tricolor rudder was actually "N° 7", the "N°" usually painted on the blue (left) or red (right) bands.
French "3-XB" was without camouflage colors from 12/7/1974 to 4/11/1974. It was painted in November 1974.
It is seen at Avord, on 19 January 1982, coded 13-PR (EC 2/13 "Alpes".

Cheers

Hello,  :-salut :-salut

A very nice painting.
Two details : the upper outline of the engine cowlings should be less curved and the air intake of the supercharger looks like the one of the Bf 109 F version.

Here is the Academy G-14 in the colors of II/JG27 in the late summer of 1944. A color photo exists of a line of JG27 machines with Yellow 2 in the foreground. Yellow 5 is the next airplane in line and this is the airplane I selected.

Hello !  :-salut

Unfortunately, "gelbe 5" of II./JG 27 is a Bf 109 G-6/AS... not a G-14. Sorry.
