I also have Frog kit reissued by Revell in some build stage. Also have Dragon decals from two kits I have before.

Revell's one from year 1966 was a good kit. I don't understand why they replaced it by the Frog kit...
Dragon issued two versions : A-0 and A-7.

I still have some parts from my Frog 1/72 kit......that I built in the sixties. Some day a Tamiya version in my scale will join my pile!

Frog's is not the best. Dragon's one is good but mine was made of bad quality plastic and warped badly... I have Revell's which is a good basis but not yet finished...

Think best night fighter with best flying properties and highest speed was Mosquito NF!
It was also highly manoeuvrable, much better than sluggish He-219!

Hello all,

Here is my last build. It gives me not entirely satisfaction. The rendering is strange, may be due to the wings ? The u/c legs had to be shortened and I had to build the second seat fot the gunner... and so add belts for both seats. The uppersurfaces green is Humbrol Authentic HT-1 and the blue is Humbrol 89 (Recommended by KP) but it seems too blue a color. I overstrained myself to finish it... only because it's a part of my Korean War series.

Very good rendering. Bravo !
Yes, this plane has been found at the Junkers-Bernburg factory. This is WNr 310027 (All 3100xx are Junkers-built and are He 162 A-1s with MK 108 30mm guns and short barrels not visible through the gun trough, all others being A-2s with MG 151/20 guns with long barrels that you have to remove from your model)
You have to paint black the openings of the chutes. The black polka dots on the fins are actually holes made by small firearms.

The undersurfaces of the wing ailerons must be the same color as uppersurfaces.
