Kit get layer of wash, much of it is clean up but need more clean and to make some strains. Some parts are adds and this is final step before flat varnish. Mainly this is landing gear step

Decals were applied on kit in two easy days. First day I put all service stencils and today I complete national insignia and unit markings. Most pleasant feature is the register letter what are on wing bottom, they are printed sliced, so very easy to put em on each landing gear door separately

A curious story took place in 1974. After buying Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighters in the USA, the Pakistani Air Force decided to get a modern attack aircraft. The United States at that time offered the Pakistanis the Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter and the Ling-Temco-Vought A-7 Corsair II. The Pakistanis liked the latter, a visit to the enterprise was organized for them, since it was about the purchase of 110 cars. But in the end, politics intervened. The Carter administration did not want to destroy the balance of power in the region, plus Islamabad began work on the creation of nuclear weapons, as a result, in 1978, Pakistan was offered the F-5E Tiger and/or a new batch of F-104 Starfighter. But Pakistan already wanted to get F-16 fighters, other options did not suit it anymore. The war in Afghanistan made it possible to realize these desires.
