Hello,

Yesterday, I tried assembling the fuselage without cement. Not easy : firstly, the right half was curved, secondly there are no "splinters" and corresponding holes to avoid staggering.

Miscellaneous Subjects / Locomotive kits by Monogram in HO scale

Hi everybody,

Here are the two Monogram kits of locomotives, one edited in three boxes with different markings. These kits were issued in 1982 in the Snap-Tite series but I cemented all parts when necessary.
A model 4-6-4 or Hudson Locomotive Type.
With Chessie System livery :




Santa Fe livery :




And the most astonishing and most powerful of all Mallets steam locomotives, the "Big Boy":

I partcularly like the blue loc. I don't understand what is written on it : Model ? Serial number ? Designation ?
There are also very colourful vehicules. Is there a Railway museum in Serbia ?

Hello,

Just a remark upon this build (which is amazing) :

When the flaps are totally "down" i.e. 42°, both ailerons are 11° down. Generally, slats were open. This system has been abandonned only from the Bf 109 F onwards.
