Here is MiG-27K, sample from 266 APIB, Monglolskii Arat, Step airfield, June 1993. It is very early machine, and side armor plate on cockpit still was not use. I add H-25 missile as well some kind of pod at bottom fuselage, look like the one called Progress.

Basic development of K model is completed. But note that there is variation within same model so hardly this can be say, completed. Entire look is some confusing as well it include many assemblies from various load options, not all care at once.

You are absolute correct about extra panels- look realistic, not noticeable at all that they are just put over, not flush into surface level!!!

Slow progress, but almost all main elements are there
