Thanks for the advice, Draken. I'm going to put that kit on my "wish list".

Now that I've finally decided on the camouflage scheme I shot the undersides tonight.

An update and a question. First, I found this decal sheet today in my local shop. It's an old sheet but will help me with my paint scheme decision-making process.

The question: How much should I pay for a 1/48 MPM Bf-109T? I found one for U.S. $20.00 but don't know if I should buy it or not...... Does this price seem fair, No.1?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome, Ernie. You've enlarged the "LLL West" contingent from one to two!! I think you'll find this a very good place to be.

All of these sound excellent. How we proceed to schedule them is up to everyone.

So, as of now it stands:
December-MiG 29
January   -MiG 21

February and onward to be determined by the group. Does this sound good?

If everybody agree, we can postpose AFV group in january and program MiG-29 for december, if there are many people interrested by that plane...

That gives me a bit more time to plan my AFV project so I agree with the change, too.

My "snowscape" is just something that popped into my head when cooking. There was a breeze blowing hard enough to move my "snow" around but not enough to make drifts....... :-joke  The extra set of ski-tracks are another option that I should have fixed. :-red

Very nice, and good to see yours on the wheels as opposed to floats.

As I earlier pondered, only light weathering was done, primarily around the cowl flaps and underside of the engine cowling where the most "soot" and such normally appears. Other than that, here is my first Falco:

I had the flour out for cooking this morning so I decided to experiment a little. Bear with me--the concrete is showing on some of these!!! :-roll

Agreed, this turned out beautifully! You bring back happy memories for me--I have built several of these in my "first" modeling period and always enjoyed them.

And my father worked on Shermans in North Africa and Italy from the start of Operation Torch until the end of WWII.

So, the current list of GB topics is:

November: Catch-up on all earlier GBs.
December: AFV/MV with Sherman as primary subject.
January:    MiG-21

After January we will have to discuss the next projects and their order. The subjects we've mentioned in earlier replies are: MiG-29, Bf-110, Etendard, and Dewoitine 5-series fighter family.

Suggestions for next year?

I totally agree with you. We're trying to save what we can and other people around the U.S. have also worked hard to preserve military installations that still remain. It can be frustrating to watch the destruction after the buildings and concrete survived for almost seventy years, though.

Looks great, No.1! The T has almost a sailplane appearance with those extended wings.

This will be a great modification! Don't forget the profile of the fuselage belly skins directly below the center section. The B was a bit less portly in this area due to the lack of plumbing and structure for the belly tank that came later.
