Thank you, mate! I may have to pick one of these up soon, though I still have three of the old ones here to do...….

Good masking! Is the clear front fuselage assembly a good fit? I've only built the old Minicraft/Academy B-24s so this method is new to me.

Thank you :)) need help, if possible... there is mult camouflaged Shrikes used during war games, A-8 was camouflaged like that. Do you have any photo?

Srecko,
I may have photos of the A-8 painted for war games in Dana Bell's book of Army Air Force Colors. There are also a few profiles of war games camo on other types in that book. I'll look for you and send them if they'll help.

Yes, masking takes a LOT of time with no masks--I've built seven of the old Hobbycraft/Academy B-24s and I can attest to how long it takes to mask off that big nose and the turrets!!!  This is coming along quite nicely, mate!

Pack the engine nacelles with as much weight as you can, also behind the engine where it attaches if there is room.

There are a lot of things that stick out on this one! Lots of struts, rivets, bolts all out in the open and makes your job even harder!!!! It's looking great and now I'm going to have to find one of the 1/48 kits somewhere...……. :)

The American version of the Ju 87!!

I always have wanted to see more attention paid to this airplane and am so glad you're working on it here. I especially like this A-8 with the inline Curtiss engine, it's very attractive compared to the later radial version!

Possibly it could be grey, the Liberator's interior colors alone could fill a small book.....

Pretty sure your fuselage colors are right for the airplane you're building. The rear of the airplane varied in primer color depending on when it was built and where. Most of the earlier Libs were in the zinc yellow like you've done. If you're building with bomb doors open, paint the bays in the same green as the front.
