I was in this museum some 14 years ago when we visited Lisboa for the World Exposition. Believe it was in 1998. Fairy floatplane flown by Coutinho and Cabral was at that time under restoration. We have also admired the monument near the Belim fortress showing a 1:1 scale bronze model of this seaplane. Interesting!!

Here is a nice shot of an Li-2 at Orly, France.
It arrived there shortly after the war to transport the French leader of the Communist Party Maurice Thorez to a hospital in Moscow.

This was a very interesting version that was never built!
It is an official Republic PR release from the fifties!

Maybe we should forget to acquire new F-35's for the Dutch Koninklijke Luchtmacht KLu and farm out our air defence to Germany too. Our F-16's would not need an endlife-update and can go directly to various aircraft museums!!

There were many FF sub-types as far as I know.
Any chance to be more specific? German Kriegsmarine serial numbers were quite straightforward and that means origin can be traced. Would be very happy with accurate description since it is indeed a remarkable photo with that German submarine.

I found this original photo some weeks ago in a box of very interesting photos offered for sale for Euro 0.50 each.
Reverse side just remarks it is a floatflane accompanied by a submarine,
Any guess which type it is? Seems a Friedrichshafen, but I am not certain on this.
If you want to have full-res file, just let me know!!
