Lack of time, and unfortunately inspiration as well made it's toll ......
However I'm back in the saddle again and I continued my work on alba.
As my lovely wife says I'm never satisfied with what I found in the box, so why should it be different this time ? Eduard give nice photo-etched parts but I don't like when the round cross section objects are flat so I used Eduard's parts only as a base
And I started to put the turnbuckles on their place, this is very needy process but well worth time and energy !

Unfortunately I didn't have much time for modeling lately, but in a few past days I did some progress. I started to detail the engine, first step was to make the oil cooler pipes. The base is copper wire, all connections are soldered, the detailing up ( rubber hose connection ) is made from Tamiya masking tape.
The machine gun barrels are made from an injection needle, first painted with flat black, the gun metal look is achieved with graphite pencil ( HB )

And it took me solid four afternoons put that )%&&#$%"$=* oil pipe on the place...... Here it is, all on place, the exhaust is drilled out
