Look's again with original engine. But as I could note they did not match finish of the plane. This plane was alway's released in the streaky brown green pattern, not the opaque green. Anyway plane look nice!!!

Aircraft Modeling / Liquid mask?!?
« on: July 07, 2006, 11:24:17 AM »
Orange tube what you see on the image is the Oriflame Exploriating Citrus Mask. This is pilling mask and it is primary used in the face make up and cosmetics. I am sure you are asking now why is this placed here on the specialized aviation forum... and here is my story.

Just some time ago I have a need to protect something from the paint and this surface is curvature shaped. Normally for this is used liquid mask but to my sorrow I did not have a single drop in the moment. And in the moment I have remember that I have in the toilette box something which could be of use and get this tube. No matter that it is cosmetics it have base ingredient which I need and this is polyvinyl alcohol which make screen of cover on the surface. Off course I have use this Oriflame product and result was surprising!!

First to note it is more controllable in application then the other products. Second it dry very fast and finally it protect perfectly and remove easiest then any model liquid mask I have used before. As many of commercial said "two in one product"- you can make up your face as well plastic kit.

This cost double less then the package of the modelers liquid mask and work better- if you ask me it look like I will never buy again modelers liquid mask.

Let Let Let Announcment / Avia BH.33 book
« on: June 01, 2006, 11:27:59 AM »
Thanks to my good friend from Czech Republic, Marcel Kares, I have get a brand new book published by the Jakab and topic is the very interesting for me- Avia BH.33 fighter. Great!!! I realy wonder why is this fighter foregoten so long. By the end of '20 and begin of '30 this was the world top fighter plane. Book provide all what reader like to see a bulk of fine images, color profiles, technical drawings of various version and history of the plane either in CSSR as well in the other countries where this great fighter serve.

Book is bilingual and have 80 pages. Author of the book Jiri Vrany is done realy good job and I hope that an air enthusiast will have in this title all vital information about this nice fighter plane from small Europen country.

Combat Warplanes / Batman is coming?

This unusual equiped man is nothing else but the test for the new German paratrooper gear. With this pack man could flew a distance of some 120 km but German army also plan to equip this device with small jet engines. Official sources state that this is very hard to detect and track in the air. Basic idea is to deliver troops from the air in the conditions where the strong AA is present and cargo plane could not reach destination.
