Not sure if I'm right but if I remember correctly the dornier hydro planes were painted in some sord of black protecting paint on the under surfaces which were in contact with water.....

The cockpit, I wanted to give a heavier, used, dirty look so my oil wash is a bit too much but after joining the two halves of the fuselage only bits and peaces will be visible..... The instrument panel is straigt from the box only update is a drop of Humbrol Clear Fix in the instruments to imitate glass

sorry, but i don't understood what you'r meaning. In the fuselage is only mounted the engine section of the exhaust, the " fishtail " will be applied after the painting of the spitfire. if this is what you'r suggesting

Finally done, this exhaust set will be mounted in the spitfire I'm working on

so, a few words about this product. First thing that come on my mind is FANTASTIC !!! A very nice, easy to build, not over complicated and extremely fantastic shaped and produced exhaust set. As I said before, on the first sight the details looks amazing, but when painted and weathered it gets even better ! For conclusion, strongly recommended for anybody who likes to " get out more " from their models. I wish to thank No1 and Eduard for the tested product.
At the end, the use is very simple, all you have to do is to paint and weather the exhausts and its all done. After painting I used 4 different rust pigments and orange revell to dry brush the weldings, so here is the result
