Here we go- first I have note that too much of highlight spread around the panels. If you have used Style in the layer with panels then you have to reduce spread- never over 5 pixels. Also you need counter light. All panels have sharp edges and in many cases on the edge is formed line of highlight. Make it as you seen on image. Use Pen stroke and set cover of brush 15% and size ob brush not over the 3 pixels. Note- use airbrush.

Also miss shadow behind fence on the wing leading edge. Wing need more deep contrast. You have to no that this is the are which disappear in the perspective and as far is it that dark is it. Note now how it look like the lower wing area.

Missing point of many of aviation art is the harmony of the airplane with object on it. So to avoid plastic look you have to add on the surrounding camouflage color a dash of the other color object. This Light Gull Grey camouflage color include in my version a little bit of red- this red is included in the markings and need to give some shadow to make compact composition.

:-blah :-blah .. go to drink coffee... and you study this. Just to know- I am proud on you  ;)

Today I will make this example of number 4, second section. Color bands around cowling and fuselage are white with thin black outline 15 inches wide on nose, 20 on fuselage. Any suggestion before I screw up whole thing... BTW- unknown source of image  :-think

I was always wonder why on basis of this special fighter version was not manufactured small series of special fighters. This Spitfire have more then good windscreen but maybe due to the manufacturer technology of the time this maybe givers blurred vision on some areas.

No I did not see it but first one I have ever seen is in the Windsock magazine and that was image from museum from Australia. Just to note first color images are made in the mid in the 19 century and technique was named Daguerreotyping.

I wonder why that was made? they could never get performance same as with the Merlin and compare it in dog fight against German fighter airplanes.
