17 Sqn flow Jaguars at Bruggen at that time,my brother-in-law was with them, but their role was Strike / Ground Attack.

I was at Laarbruch (I think thats the spelling), they had one squadron of Jaguars (II(AC) Sqn) in the recce role and three squadrons of Tornados 15,16 and 20 Sqns in the Strike role.

I hope it is ok to display these images. They show a RAF reconnaissance unit deployment in Germany, I think it is during the early 80's

The first shot shows the photographers setting up the mobile processing center (the cabins on the backs of the lorries are the very same I took to the Gulf this year).

The second image shows the photo lab after all the netting has been placed over them.

And the last two show the recce aircraft - the Harrier GR3 from No. 4 Sqn. In the last shot you can just see the recce pod under the aircraft.

I was not on this reconnaissance squadron, at this time I was with No.2 Sqn (displayed as II(AC) Sqn), also in Germany.

This one is a real puzzle.

A hurricane with USAAF or USN markings, but on the tall Royal Navy can be seen. The only information I have is that it was taken on the 8th Nov 1942 and could be in Algeria.
