The Douglas SBD Dauntless was a naval dive bomber made by Douglas during World War II. The SBD was the United States Navy's main dive bomber from mid-1940 until late 1943, when it was largely replaced by the SB2C Helldiver. The aircraft was also operated by the United States Army as the A-24 Banshee. More history here:

Don't worry much about the interior paint as well in that moment Yugoslav industry has delivered just few coats for aviation. Two of them was Cellon type protection for fabric, red and transparent, and three coats was paints. There was silver, grey and green. More attention on interior and camouflage in more colors come later, when we received stock of paints from import.

There was some material available (drawings and images). This is my old work and in the meantime I have packed all Yugoslav subject into boxes and forget it for a long time. I am glad that you have managed magazine article- congratulation mate :-clap

The Brewster SB2A Buccaneer was a single-engined mid-wing monoplane scout/bomber aircraft built for the United States Navy during the early 1940s. It was also supplied to the United States Army Air Corps. Exported samples for UK was known as Bermuda.
