Right, I'm about to start on the PR XI Spitfire, I'm going to do in Far East colours and as such it requires that I have a white strip on the wing and the tail fin.
The first idea I had was to airbrush the whole aircraft white then mask out the areas I require to remain white and then airbrush with the PR Blue.
My question is, what should I use to mask out the white area with before I spray it with the blue?

During some of my research for my site, I found that during WW1 if 1 reconaissance aircraft when up, they would send up to 6 to 8 fighters to cover it.

Although painted up as an RAF Hunter F4 (in 43 Sqn markings), this aircraft is actually an ex-Royal Danish Air Force Hunter F51, serving as E-412 with that air arm. One of a number of former Danish Hunters now preserved around the UK.
