Can it be that CW-22 was an air force version and SNC-1 "Falcon" is the navy version? I no close to nothing either about it.

You had to put start blocks in front of the wheels or hold it during start. There were no breaks like we know it today :)

Looking good!

Few info to Henschel:

Henschel Hs 126

Originally constructed as a reconnaissance and artillery observation plane, the Hs 126 was ordered in big numbers by the RLM, and in the first years of the war was used extensively for these purposes. From 1942 on she made way for the Fw 189 and was assigned to minor tasks like serving as pilot trainers and dragging glider planes until the end of the war. About 600 Hs 126 of all patterns were produced, the machine was present at all fronts. Main version in use was the Hs 126B.

another link but qulity of photos is not so good.

Looks in a great condition!
You should advertise it on the aerodrome forum as well. Balooning is not exactly my kind of interest.

Is this a Fw44?
I think the struts are strange. Usually they would come from the middle of the fuselage and the strong struts going into the bottom wing would be only thinner cables.
Might that be a diffrent version I dont know? or a modification for flying in coastal areas with stronger winds?
I hope to get a larger scan of this soon.

I think we solved this already in the Aerodrome forum. It's Prussian AceHans Kirschstein from Koblenz.
