Prototype of new ekranoplan, Orlan, will create in the framework of the current state program of weapons, said Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.

"The state arms program 2018-2027 has a development work "Orlan", which provides for the construction of a prototype, " he said.

Ekranoplans will be equipped with missile weapons to patrol the sea areas.

As I know, yes. President of Russia announced development of few programs of ekranoplane and introducing into Russian navy, this is start year.
