A new horse to paint!
here is the basic figure...
-
Basic figure is a boy; I need to paint a girl :-green
And some elements have to be removed as indicated
-
The mane is too big compared to the one of the real Lola; the tail must be bigger; the legs a little bit different. So I removed the tail, the mane, the male attribute, the name of the producer of the figure and I give also a little bit more depth to the ears.
here is the figure in his actual state...
-
Lola is beautiful name :-love
-
Yes, I find that also...
-
That surgery looks rather painful......! ;) This is great work to watch!
-
Thank you Scott!
Next phase in the forthcoming days...
-
Base for the tail: solid iron wire then copper wire.
Miliput will be applied on...
-
I know this will be authentic ;)
-
Thank you my friend. Will do my best for that...
-
The mane and the tail are redone, thanks to the help of my friend Domi from RetrokiT...
-
Still rough form but shape is there
-
More work is needed to obtain what I really want, but now I'm waiting for photos of the real horse...
-
The mane is corrected with Magic Sculpt and a good cutter blade. Now, a little bit of sanding will be needed when Magic Sculpt will be hardened...
-
Look great, I can imagive with all layers and shadows how beautiful this will be ;)
-
Beautiful, long mane!
-
Thank you friends!
-
Work of corrections and sculpting is finished now.
I have shortened the sabots and the low part of the legs, then used Magic Sculpt.
Now the painting phase can begin!
-
Comparrison between the original figure and the actual, modified one... I'm quite proud of my work :-green
-
You have to be, you make it great, more dynamic!
-
Thank you my friend! ;)

Oil paint "Ochre Yellow Light" is lightened with a little bit of white and applied on the mane, the tail and other parts needed.
