A new "order" made from a friend at the office: this time it will be Oraïa.
First photos of the original figure and the work already made: removing the mane (that I will replace by a scratched one); the male attributes (Oraïa is a female) and the logo of the producer of the figure...
-
Lets go :))
-
Work will be resumed in the next few days... If my job let me to have some free time...
-
We love to see your "horse work"!
-
Thank you Scott! ;)
-
Name sound very strange, what is the story and origins of the name?

A horse is never "immaculate white"... So I've protected the eyes with maskol then I've airbrusehd a mix of white with a drop of light grey.
For Oraïa I will paint with acrylics and not oil paints due to the difficulty to simulate the horse...
-
excellent !
-
Thank you!
Painting of Oraïa is finished now. She owns a "robe truitée" as we say in French; don't know if translation will be correct: "trout dress".
That signifies very little dots of color on the dress.
To represent that I have used two techniques: first, a very dikuted paint that I have placed on the paintbrush; then with a toothpick I've projected the paint of the figure. For the more important zones I've used same paint on a bit of sponse...
Tomorrow I will place Oraïa on her base
-
When I came back home I constated that the base was dry so it was not necessary to wait until tomorrow to finish the work.
here is Oraïa ;)
