I cannot wait with this one (photo 1), I've to build it quickly :-love
After having washed the parts into water + soap, I've removed the flash on the parts, sanded a little bit on some places and then I've carefully examinated the easy way to build and paint the kit.
Having made some fitting trials, I've concluded that the best way to do is to make sub-assemblies.
On photo 3 you can see that some rivets were missing; I made new ones with 3D tissue paint.
The pilot (photos 7 to 9) is really pretty with a nice face :-love
The fittings tests revealed some problems when positioning the pilot... I resolved the problem removing the gas controllers and creating new ones (photo 9)
OK, ready for primer... :))
-
Excellent castings, it appears!!
-
I confirm, Scott... ;-)
-
Primer airbrushed.
I LOVE the face of the pilot... :-love
-
Very interesting subject and a very good job mate !
-
Thank you mate! ;)
-
Hey :)) This is great to see :-ok
-
The parts were airbrushed khaki green Gunze H52); the pilot received a base coat of acrylic flesh paint (Tamiya XF-15)
-
Interesting selection of color, any paint peel of in later stage?

Sure, there will be weathering but later in the process...
-
Little progress with acrylic paints
-
Excellent !
-
Thank you ;-)
-
Some little progress...
First photo shows you the different mediums I've used today.
Other photos show you the result; I'me quite happy... But the last photo shows you that I've removed the acrylic paint on the pilot. I was not happy with the result so I prefer to restart the process... ;)
-
Good results and a restart on the rider will be enjoyable for us to watch, too!
-
Thank you Scott!
Hope a very better result, for the young lady...
-
I've airbrushed gloss varnish then applied home made decals (Luxemburg cockades) and decals from spare box (code); then covered decals with Klir
-
Luxemburg marking do look interesting there ;)
-
Good progress today: matt varnish, then use of pastels and finally, partial assembly of the sub assemblies... The rear of the Mücke (with the reactors) will be positioned after the installation of the pilot.
For the little cutie, white primer and acrylic Flesh (Tamiya XF-15) were airbrushed. I will certainly use oil paint for the flesh and for the rest I,ve not decided yet: acrylic or oil paint...
-
Idea for background is excellent!!!
-
Thank you my friend!
In my mind, it's the best way to simulate altitude...
-
Nice !
-
Still working on that sweet pilot...
The flesh is oil paint; the rest is acrylic. Lot of work still to do...
-
Shade is good!
-
Thank you my friend
-
FINISHED! :-green
-
Hahaha- relaxed face expression of figure is great :-razz and whole work is great :-clap
-
Thank you my friend
-
It's an excellent rendering, and I love her riding style also! (I also like that there are a couple of He162 vertical fins on the machine)
-
Thank you Scott !
It was a real fun to build that kit
-
excellent !

Thanks mate
