Start new build, better to say double build. In this topic will be presented two builds, first to come is the kit with easy set of Eduard etched parts and it will be made by my young apprentice Nikola (14 years old). It will be accompanied with my build with extended set with extra external details. Interesting to note that both Zvezda kits are received as gifts. This build present part of the review of the Eduard products.
P.S. yes, Nikola will be our member soon... :-flo

Good to see this start, and welcome to Nikola on this build! I can't wait to see if the result with the 1/72 Zvezda kit is as good as the 1/48 version!
-
I am looking forward to seeing this one develop.
-
Thank you friends :) I will show progress today ;)
-
And here you are :))

Ernie
-
Thank you :) next work session is tomorrow ;)
-
Nice progress !!! :-clap :-clap :-ok
-
More images of progress ;) No mater it is first time, canopy was precisely sliced into three parts and will be open! Good work in 1/72 but with little penalty :-danger One of image show young friends who get instructions from me.
-
Ouch!
Here's a little extra hint on the canopy--if the central hinged part comes up short after sawing the parts apart, you can use clear styrene to bend up a new one that looks great. I've been doing that with some of my Bf 109 kits and it works great except on the very late one-piece Erla canopy.
Great work, everyone!

Good work! It is nice No.1 that you are tutoring these young guys in the hobby so they get started off right :-salut :-ok

Looking good, so far, Nikola. Perhaps No.1 will consider comparing his new Eduard kit build to the Italaeri 72nd Bf-109F with its many deficiencies, or the Fine Molds effort for us.
-
Will be nice but I have no kits of them. Nikola will slow down work as well school started ;)

I start painting but still did not decide which machine I will made :-wall
-
Yes, that is typical with the Bf 109--so many markings choices available!!! We will enjoy whatever airplane you choose..... :-flo
-
Thank you :))

Finally I decide to make it from box. Few other options failed due to the miss of some materials :( :-wall

Just when the yellow areas were painted I noted strange line on bottom, flaps :-think But I am sure my little assistance will help me to solve this problem :-razz
