I had planned to turn the radome from aluminum on the lathe but I believe your way will be more fun!

I should have warned you about the filler.......it is a little "gooey" when you start a new tube but becomes firmer and easier to apply after a few uses. You're right though, it will sand (especially likes wet sanding) easily when cured.

About filler, this is my error, I make a coat and try to make another pass to reshape it... in just few seconds it become a bit harden so result was messy surface coat

Shape is over and I have cut off parts where have to be transparent elements. Now to get time to make it... hope in one week I would be able to do that. Work bench is busy, you see there Typhoon, Zmaj R-1 (scratch built), MS 406 for paint test and Caproni 310.
