Dear friends,
I have to build some kits for review and to finish some other ones that I have begun, but before the end of the year I think I can start a new build from my stash...
Problem is that actually there are more than one kit that is asking me to be build!!!
So, as Scott did some times ago, I wish to ask your opinion: from the list below, what is the kit I have to build in priority?
- Special Hobby 1/32: Brewster Buffalo (Belgium)
- Italeri 1/48: Spitfire MK XVIe (349 Belgian Sqn; aircraft of Raymond Lallemant "GE+D")
- PJ Productions 1/48: Dassault-Dornier Alpha Jet (Belgium) - RESIN KIT!
- Hasegawa "Egg Plane": P-51D Mustang (with cockpit detail set from RetrokiT)
- Italeri 1/48: Republic F-84F Thunderstreak (Belgium)
- Special Hobby 1/72: Ki-43 Oscar (France)
- Revell 1/72: F4U-5 Corsair (San Salvador)
- Tamiya 1/72: F-51D Mustang (Guatemala)
- Azur 1/72: Bloch MB 152 (France)
- Tamiya 1/48: Dewoitine 520 (France)
As you can see, no WWI actually... ;)
Thank you for your help!

Aaaaaaahhhhh..... what a challenge!!! Must say that all subjects are so nice that any you choose is great! Maybe to skip resin and start with something relaxing and this is for sure Mustang!!!
-
Why Mustang? Everybody builds Mustangs!! Why not a rarer type like Dewoitine D.520?
Tamiya's 1/48 scale kit is of very high quality and this would mean an excellent model just built from the box!
-
I'm in agreement with Nico--either the D.520 or MB 152 would be great!
-
To build a French aircraft would be great indeed. Of course, most relaxing is the Tamiya kit; Azur will ask for some additional work - But that can be funny too!
-
Relax is first point I have on my mind so anything from Tamya is good :)
-
Well, actually top three is:
Tamiya 1/48 Dewoitine 520 (I own PE parts from PART for that kit)
Azur 1/72 Bloch MB 152
Tamiya 1/72 F-51D Mustang

Go ahead mate :-ok
-
Well, anyone of the ten would have been a good choice anyway!
Will wait also for the opinion of Sall... ;)
-
I vote for MB 152,very cute plane!! :-ok
And go ahead mate! Whatever you choose,we will enjoy!! ;) :-clap
Of course, hardly wait to se Thunderstreak and Alpha Jet... :-jump
-
OK, now we can eliminate 8 of the 10 possibilities...
What remains is:
Dewoitine 520 (Tamiya 1/48)
Bloch 152 (Azur 1/72)
Your votes, please... ;)
-
We forget to add poll to this topic.... can you do that mate?
-
Never made that... What is the procedure?
-
Huuhhh... let me see...
-
I voted for the Spitfire! :) I've built that kit, and it's a nice, fun build.
-
Well, Spitfire if of course also a good choice... ;)
-
F-84F

I voted for the Alpha Jet because I think that is a cool plane, and aside from the PJ kit there are not any decent kits of this in 48th scale!

I don't know the Parts PE set, but the D.520 is a dream to build, absolutely hassle-free... I've built mine using the Eduard Zoom set and that was it... Take a look at my Facebook album... :-ok
