It's taking shape!

While the fuselage is getting sanded and adding putty where needed the propeller blade has been made. A few layers of different colored wood, lot of sanding and shaping......

Now the wing. First I made a "sandwich " from different thick styrene sheet. As a next step I made a cardboard pattern of the wing ending and draw it on styrene and cut it on shape. After shaping the wing ends in thickness I draw the fins on the wing and with the help of medicine cutter I shaped the canvas texture of the wing. For final step at this stage the leading edge of the wing is corrected with putty. Still lot of work on this one but I'm getting there slowly.......

The fuselage is finally in pre-Surfacer shape. As seen on the photos the areas around the cockpit an engine is from metal and its a bit leveled up from the rest of the fuselage. i made theese elements from a thin brass plate, to make " positive " rivets I made the on the backside of each plate and when glued to surface it give a nice effect of rivets standing out from the surface.
