Title: Surface primer

Did any of you use this?

Or what is your best recommendation for something very fast drying and strong adhere to surface, like nitro medium?

I haven't used Tamiya primer but people using it are very satisfied...
I use Gunze mr Surfacer 1000 or 1200 for my primer,it is great when properly thinned with nitro solvent.
It is actually liquid putty (at least mr surfacer 500),but mr surfacer 1000 or 1200 are ,at least by my experience, much better as primers

Mr surfacer is available occasionally, but I usually come too late and the price is at least double the price elsewhere :(
I have never seen Tamiya primer or Gunze primer in spray available here   :-roll

Once before I have get bottle of Gunze 1000 and i don't prefer in spray bottle.

Hi all,

As I only brush by hands with Humbrol paints, I use to use a neutral color as No 103 or 64. Then I sand this very thin with Tamiya's 2000 grade sanding paper.
I've recently bought Humbrol No 1 Primer but have'nt still tried it.
I also oftenly use no primer at all when the plastic has a clear neutral color such as grey as per Heller kits or Tamiya's...

My principal problem is that i switch on acryl paints and they don't hold on surface as enamels diluted with nitro. Paint peel off when I remove masking tape so I need very strong base coat. Once I use very fine Dutch Sikkens metal primer coat for metal and I can not find this any more. Very fine grade and very fact drying time.
