Back to another problem:
The PE part is very hard to form correctly; and I've constated that it's larger than the kit part. So, bad fitting obviously...
So, we will use the kit part!!!
...that will of course ask for many work but the fit will be correct. All is said.
Work in progress
Break after two hours, to remain zen...

Uh...
look like nightmare and it look like it need so much time to solve properly. Is it possible to cut separate gills from etched parts and to fit it to original part?

Possible, Srecko. I'm envisaging that option. Or maybe to use aluminium paper. Or maybe to use nothing, as that part is on the undersuface of the fuselage...
It's not a nightmare, but I will not recommend that kit for beginner...

I will try to post a "step-by-step" action when I will continue the opening of the louves

Step-by-step:
Two holes are made, on the extremities of each louve.
The plastic is removed with a cutter
And here is the final result - A little bit of sanding is needed yet:
... There are 108 louves on that element...

Thank you!!!
OK, now we can start the painting job! First of all, as ever I use white primer (Tamiya XF-2 & airbrush)
No big problem but the propeller revealed under the primer a little lack of putty... Correction in progress...

Thank you!
No photos today, but I've sanded the propeller, and prepared the parts for painting - but also prepared the order of use of paints: first dope, then aluminium, and lastly wood...
