Here is an update on some new landing gear products from the folks at Scale Aircraft Products. These are all up to the same standard as other SAC kits and offer a variety of scales, including 1/144 airliners. :-ok

First is 72043 for the new Revell Halifax:

Kit 72044 1/72 set for the ICM MiG-25. Notice that this has the option of short or long nose gear strut:

Scale Aircraft Conversions updated product notice regarding set # 48172

It has been brought to our attention that our replacement set # 48172 for the Great Wall TBD-1 Devastator renders the main landing gear at full extension (as do the GW parts). While this is fine for the modeller wishing to pose the completed model "in flight", it doesn't accurately depict a bird on the deck. Therefore we have altered the main gear in our set #48172 to the weighted configuration *(see photo). Anyone who purchased our original set may receive the updated set at no charge by contacting us directly at: sacmactexas@aol.com. Please include where and approximately when you purchased the set.

This set replaces the kit parts perfectly and gives a nicer appearance than the plastic legs. The Eduard PE elements and landing gear doors fit the metal legs nicely and the tailwheel is very sturdy as well.

First, in 1/32, is 32072 for the Revell Westland Lynx kit:

Only one in 1/48. This is set 48218 and upgrades the Trumpter Supermarine Attacker. Not only are the gear legs included, but the wheel well assemblies are in the set with corrected attachment locations. Also, the lower gear legs and doors are corrected to the correct form:

Firstly, in 1/18 scale, is a HUGE upgrade set for the Merit SBD-3/4. There is a lot of metal in this one!

In 1/32 there are two, first is 32077 for the Hasegawa F-104.
The second kit is 32078 and upgrades the Revell (2013 molding) Bf 109.

Also two new sets in 1/48. The first is 48241 for the Kinetic Alpha Jet.
48242 is designed for the AeroPlast Mi-2 Hoplite.

In 1/72 we have 72072, designed for the Heller Boeing 707 and C-135 series. I'll be using this one on a 707 project I started years ago.
72073 upgrades the Airfix Hawker Typhoon kit.
The last 1/72 set is 72074 for the Revell F-101B Voodoo.

Last but not least, in 1/144 is an excellent set for the Roden Boeing 720.

Notice to SAC distributors and media sources:

Most modellers are aware that all variants of the Grumman A-6 family are fitted with the same landing gear. Though some internal modifications were made later in production, these changes are not visually evident. However, on occasion we receive inquiries asking questions like, "Will the gear for the Kinetic EA-6B fit their A-6E?" To aid in identification we are making some slight alterations to the labels for our 1/48 A-6 Intruder/Prowler sets. Currently Kinetic has 3 variants in their line while Hobby Boss has 2 and both could add 1 or 2 more respectively. If this happens we will alter the label(s) again to reflect this. Of course Revell/Monogram has 3 variants and we're adding the EA-6A for clarification. So in the future, when you restock, the labels will read as follows:

This new item is a 1/32 refueling pod, or "buddy store" for U.S. Navy aircraft. This is a beauty, with the tank and molded-in-place drogue basket, the propeller for reeling in and out the hose and a nice decal sheet. This is stock #32095 and fits a variety of airplanes:
