A long moment of solitude today: sanding the wings...  :-green
Minor corrections needed; this time for the use of putty with toluen, the window of my workbench was open!!!

Preparation of the cockpit parts; exhaust and I gived some effect with lime on the drag chute housing cone: on the photos of actual aircrafts, that cone is damaged because it is jettisoned when the drag chute activating handle is pulled and is later retrieved by groundcrew...

I must say that for this particular build I try to have the maximum of details...

So, my BA-23 will be represented for the mission 1690 flown by Capt avi JC Bodart on 20 may 1987, from 13.01 to 13.22 ECT; mach 2 (2.120 km:h); altitude reached: 11.000 meters... ;)

 ;)

Today works:

I have first placed the tail, the UHF blade antenna and the upper spine TACAN antenna. Then, the exhaust. Then, the nose is assembled with the antenna.
The air intake needed some extra work, to create panels that are not represented on the kit...
And finally some work on the undersurfaces.

Little progress, again playing with putty...

And... Ta-daaam!!! Second Mirage V appearing; always 1/72 from PJ but this time the resin kit. That will become a V BR.
