Something so simple and special...
-
great subject ! I see a fuselage in the package but it says conversion for Eduard's kit. Have an option for Eduard and just simply build it from the '' box '' ?
-
This conversion mean that it need landing gear and cockpit canopy from Eduard kit ;) very conversion as you see :))
-
oh, right.... well.....what to say :-wall
-
This is completed after glorious fight with so many parts :-smey I like it, look so sweet and interesting. Apart it was test bed for Tu-144, I am wonder how this could look like as operational fighter?
-
now this one was quick :) well done mate looks good !
-
:))
-
Silver beauty!!!
-
Thanks :))
-
Well done and nice result!
Mine is just started (no photos yet... If you agree I will publish my work here)
Funny to see that yours had a hole in the wing at the same place than mine...
-
No problem to put your build here, I am not owner of the topic, just starter ;) Hole in same place... so we have case of quantum teleportation of state and Domi generate same empty space on two different places!!!
-
:-green :-green :-green
-
OK, time to begin mine!
I will represent the aircraft abandoned on a field (see photo). For that I will use as a base... A piece of wall! The texture of that element is excellent to represent a ground with grass...
First step: the tail is in place and putty used
-
:-clap :-clap :-clap
-
White primer on the cockpit interior; canopy masked and primer also on the base
-
Yes, base, I forget that I have to make for my sample
-
good !
-
Cockpit interior color airbrushed. First time I used MIG paint... Seems more green than blue... Not really a problem for what I want to do anyway (normally you will not see the cockpit interior)
And for the base, Gunze H72
-
True, not good match but who cares in this case ;)
-
;)
-
Solution was simple for the cockpit color: I've slightly sanded the canopy so it became opaque (no need to build nor paint the interior!!!).
I've also worked on the base that is ready now to receive the grass...
-
looks nice
-
Thank you ;)
-
Base finished...
-
Wise one... you catch specific redish soil which can be seen on many area in Russia
-
Thank you ;)
-
A little bit of miliput needed to correct excess of sanding at the beginning of the build, just behind the cockpit
-
still lot to do but you'r progressing nicely, well done
-
Thank you 😉
-
Watching some photos of "my" Analog, I've constated that the nose and the exhaust are covered with a cache. To do that: miliput...
Looks good for the nose; not finished yet for the exhaust
-
Excellent what details you observe on such small kit!!!
-
Thank you my friend
-
Miliput sanded. The border of the exhaust cache is added (Tamiya white masking tape; followed by a little bit of Klir to fix it stronger)
-
Tape will stay there permanently?
-
I think yes because KLir will play the rule of glue...
-
Exhaust cache needed a little bit of putyy. To be said that the masking tape is weel fixed with Klir :-green
Preparation for painting...
-
Painting... :))
-
Yes, time to do that...
-
The method of using tape will work just fine--the vacuform F-89 I built in the 1980s has some tape on it and it is still in good shape after all these years!
-
superb job mate ! keep on !
-
Thank you 😉
-
White primer reveals that some putty is still needed. I have to correct that!!!
-
Ahhhh... those Communist, just complicated things!!
-
Ahhhh... those Communist, just complicated things!!
I have to confirm...
-
Mr Surfacer 500 will be helpful I hope...
-
Final touches I guess.... Looks great !
-
I hope so... Thank you my friend
-
Back on the Analog...
-
I almost forget this project :))
-
I understand that...
I'm soo slow...
-
Caches are airbrushed in red
-
well done mate, nice to see paint job has started
-
Thank you my friend
-
Tamiya masking tape on red color; tyres painted with Panzer Aces dark rubber and then Klir on all the parts
-
Main painting is next?
-
Main painting is next?
Yes, exactly
-
great !
-
Thank you ;)
-
Gunze H8 airbrushed
-
Good base for rest I guess
-
Yes indeed
-
looks promising !
-
After gloss varnish, I've applied the decals + MicroSol
-
As I can see, they set so smooth to surface!
-
Yes, I'm satisfied with the result
-
Interpanels enhanced with aequous black pencil; then oil paint used to simulate weathering and some pieces of sponse painted in green... So the aircraft seems really abandoned.
I will give time to oil to dry then final assembly...
-
Far superior build then my :) and pleasure to see effects you achieve :)
-
Thank you my friend, but yours is very nice too!
-
FINISHED !!!
-
:-clap :-clap :-clap
-
Thank you my friend ;)
-
Fantastic my friend !
