I've bought that kit two days ago, during the expo of "les Fêlés du modélisme" at Roselies (Belgium).
It's a short run but of excellent quality.
Work started by a wash of all the parts and the canopy put in a bath of Klir.
Then I removed all the unneeded parts from the sprue and prepaired the ones that will be used.
Exhausts are glued on the half fuselages; a hole is made in the engine cover to permit the placement of the propellers support; the parts that will receive the wheel legs are also glued and I've also put some elements in Evergreen to obtain a good alignment when I will glue the half fuselages together...

Rare subject!!!
Yes; and a very beautiful aircraft!
-
Lets hope this can be of help for you
-
Sure!
Thank you very much my friend ☺
-
good !

:))

A wonderful subject! This was really a spectacular way of making a big V-12 fly with the smallest airframe they could build.
-
Some progress: Interior of the cockpit painted in light gray (Gunze H338); instrument panel in gray H324. I will not use the decals for the instruments because it's just like my paint: black dots... So I preferred to use paint...
Wheel bays are RLM02 (Gunze H70). I have also airbrushed Vallejo black primer for metal paints on some parts
-
great !

I have airbrushed Pébéo clear varnish then used Tamiya black panel liner

Masking in progress. I"m working slowly, being too nervious those last days...
-
Just keep calm, model look good for now
-
I have continued to mask the Me209 than I've airbrushed Tamiya XF-8 Flat Blue.
...Well, result is better than expected!
Now I will have to airbrush gloss varnish but I'm really happy with the actual result
-
Beautiful color scheme!
-
Thank you Scott!
Pébéo gloss varnish airbrushed and then decals applied. Code "OO" is for Belgium...
And as you can see, I've made home-made decals of my avatar :))
Propeller is painted; will also receive gloss varnish soon
