This stand few months and last time to start work on it. Except of basic Revell parts, I will use also Eduard products for extra details. First at all, list of Revell kit content
-
Then what I will use from Eduard
-
Then glorious start of work... I put material on work bench and then lay down and listen music :-smey all right, continue tomorrow ;)
-
Good one here!---I have plans for one of these in 1/48 someday, so I'll watch yours for inspiration!!!!
-
Inspiration... well, here is excellent Belgium beer there :))
-
:-ok
-
Looks as a fine kit, nice start as well, I cantwait to see it done, will be a fine piece for shure !
-
I was admiring the beer bottle and then noticed that your kit box art shows the exact markings I had planned for my smaller version!!
-
Thanks friends :)) It is possible I will make red 12, it have specific method of patches application, small circles, not blotches as shown on illustration. So, here is my fight with cockpit and it is still not completed. So hot here, I have to stop for a moment.
-
Nice!
-
Thanks :)) And progress today. No specific note to add, built goes standard
-
Good!
-
Nose gun section completed and fuselage closed
-
Looks like a relaxing build!
-
Yes, and pleasant to watch

Sorry for small delays. Here is progress and I need to solve gap in bottom of this hub
-
A little bit of very fine Evergreen...
-
Yes, I agree
-
nice progress, Evergreen will do the job
-
Sorry for delay on update, this is work last few days. Slow work, due to heat, not much possible to work
-
Excellent my friend.
Hope heat is going better
-
We wait for rain :))
-
nice progress mate !
-
Hahaha... snail speed on my side :))
-
:-ok
-
We're moving at about the same pace, both working on engines right now....
-
slow but good my friend !
-
Here is some progress made. To regret, still extreme hot that I can do any more work. About the kit, I am not so much satisfied with how parts match, it need pressure and holding to fit parts together and again, join line need filler. I guess that molds has work a lot so it get out of shape ( a bit). As well one part of canopy will be open (I hope so), I star painting and tomorrow I will try to paint camouflage color at top and then to lift mask and place inside and spray paint from inside. Too big scale, it must be done like that.
-
One engine will be open and as I see from this photo, it need much upgrade... will see what to do
-
I very much enjoy looking at these early turbine engines--so simple by comparison to the ones I work on every day!
-
:-ok
-
lot of upcoming work, keep up the good job mate !
-
I guess tomorrow will be preparation for painting
-
Impatient to see that tomorrow
-
This is from yesterday and later today will make new progress and new photos ;)
-
Interesting mounting for the antenna array, more like the real airplane than most models.
-
:-ok
-
Here is situation now- small elements add, before that one main panel line engraved. All kit spray in black and some later will be polished with 3200 grit paper, add few panels, check out again and if all pass fine, start painting.
-
Two top colors were painted and bad news for me... no more RLM 76. So if I have to make any corrections, this would be so tricky :-dal :(
-
Looks great anyway
-
Thanks :)) I just make Aztec fine line test (well, can be better) and in few minutes will start work on camouflage painting.
-
The best, and sometimes most frustrating, parts--the squiggles!!!!
-
Done somehow ;) It is specific that RLM 82 was applied as patches while RLM 81 in many places in donut shape. Ah, forget to say, this will be Messerschmitt Me 262B-1a/U1 "Red 12" W.Nr. 111980 of 10./NJG10, 1945
-
:-ok
-
Black bottom and start work on wheels :))
-
Good rendering!!!
-
Yes, excellent !
-

-
Some progress, much decals are placed but still a lot to be add and I complete landing gear, with resin replacement :))
-
Splendid! :-ok
-

-
You really tempt me to dig out the one in my pile!!!!
-
Hahaha- go ahead mate :)) On my side, final assembly, hope it will be ready for photos tomorrow. many small parts inside cockpit canopy should be placed
-
