Here is a photo of the home-made forward catapult fittings. The sling would be hooked to each of these and then into the shuttle in the carrier deck catapult track.

Thanks, fellows, but the credit goes to Tamiya. This model literally has fallen together on its own. I only wish the manufacturer had done the C wing rather than the less-used B, but it's still a great kit with just a few tiny issues.

Incidentally, the catapult lugs are made from sewing pins that I just bent 90 degrees with a tiny styrene brace in front.

The undersides received their coat of Sky this morning. I LOVE :-love that ancient Humbrol paint!
