Late war Fokker Dr.I
« on: June 22, 2011, 08:18:47 AM »
Dear friends,

strange way with this kit which images I post to you here in first post of this topic. I get it two years ago as gift and I never consider seriously for build. But it become playground for the waste color so when some paint remain in airbrush or on brush and it match to the kit needs- I put it on. After almost two years this kit is almost painted and even more fuselage assembled (cement testing and so on...)

So- this is Revell kit of Fokker Dr.I in 1/72 scale and this is quite descent kit, available everywhere (I hope so) and with good price. I have decide to put it on work table and do something with. What will be final result is the late WW1 machines which is a bit different in markings and even camouflage then when they enter service.Images show box and parts, mostly painted on fret, wings completely painted at top and bottom in basic colors and most interesting- fuselage! It get basic green coat and I start work patchy camouflage on one side (... yes- I test ear stick functions with Vallejo paints...). You see on second images yellow paper decal set for the old Esci Fokker D.VII, I need them for the narrow cross on fuselage :))

Will continue...
