It is good, simple, detailed and precise. I did cockpit in really short time. When it get dry, will add some details. Interior is clear grey, as used in cockpit of pre war produced airplanes. Sample I do is from first production batch, used in Khalkin Gol mission

Progress is fast here. I have feel holes where will be placed struts with Mascol, as well due to specific camouflage it need to be painted before final assembly. Also during the Battles of Khalkhin Gol, I-153 used missiles under wing so I put racks. I am wonder how to hot gases blast influenced on fabric cover?

Excellent progress here, mate! And the Khalkhin Gol war period is so interesting to me that you are doing a perfect subject!!! (I will soon have one of these since you are building this one--I REALLY must have one in my collection...)

I did some small research on the Soviet use of rockets with the fabric skin and found no real mention of problems, nor did I find that they used metal plates to protect the fabric or anything. I reckon that the dope and final paint coats were enough to protect the fabric and the airflow did the rest. I'm sure some info exists on this, somewhere.

I also read some combat articles and there was real fight, some guess that Soviet victory there, do make primary point to stop Japanese advance which greatly influenced WW2. And on my side, last details and soon will be painted.

Silver is painted. I-153 have two options of painting, one is when fabric was silver and rest was grey and other is all grey (as I read, rare pattern).
