I finally got new Humbrol paints (RLM 74, 75 and 76) to begin painting my kit.

That has taken time to get these paints because I had to find them in France, because it's now forbidden to export enamels from Great Britain to continental Europe by airmail !
These new paints seem to be of good quality. They only demand a little thinning but it's not a bad feature.
I have got the following ones :
RLM 74 = Hu 245, RLM 75 = Hu 246, RLM 76 = Hu 247
RLM 81 = Hu 251, RLM 82 = Hu 252.
RLM 02 = Hu 240. I didn't get RLM 83, because it's only a variation of RLM 82...

Hello all,

I'm back. Very happy to present you the finished Eduard's Bf 109 G-6. The kit, apart from some improvements has been built out of the box. For painting I used the last Humbrol paints and I must say that the RLM 74 is totally wrong being of a brownish hue that's not real... It seems like another RLM 81. I had to make my own RLM 74 by mixing Humbrol 79 with 10% 91.

Hello everybody

After the photos I found that the u/c legs are a little too long.
I corrected only the length of the legs (the covers being of accurate dimensions compared to the kit) and their angle from the front view.
