Here's a kit that I found hiding in the bottom of a box the other day. I don't remember buying this one at all........it was a long time ago though. It's not up to the standards of modern kits but isn't too bad to put together. The cockpit isn't terribly detailed so I'll leave the canopy closed and just build it for the fun of building!!

Hiding kits, I wish I am that lucky ;) lets see this build ;)

When we moved from our last home to this one I boxed my models in big containers. When I finally opened one I found this Fury!

Interresting kit! :)

Thanks, everyone!
Now I am waiting for a decal sheet.........then painting can begin.
-
So long between updates here...... The decal sheet arrived quite some time ago but I just last night prepared the Sea Fury for the underside Azure color. I hope to start the upper surfaces early this week if time allows.

It take very good look right now!
-
Yes, I like this scheme also! The Royal Navy scheme was too "ordinary" to me for some reason......
-
Looks nice!

very nice mate

Here are a few pictures of this "practice" Sea Fury. It was rather fun to construct but I would definitely add some aftermarket parts (cockpit, propeller and spinner etc.) for a more detailed machine.
I decided to decal this one in Pakistani markings for sentimental reasons. I used to work with a fellow whose father flew for the Pakistani Air Force. It was once mentioned that he had started out on Sea Fury equipment and then transitioned to jets. So, this one is built to the memory of my friend's father!

What a subject :-clap :-ok
-
Splendid!
-
Thanks, friends. :-flo
With more effort than I expended a really nice representation of the Sea Fury can come from this kit. Next time I'll get some aftermarket goodies to add to one!
-
one of my favourite subjects, very nicely executed, well done SAF.Nevertheless, I would recomend a bit of weathering. It would highlight its nice painting you have done.
-
great job mate !
-
Thanks friends.
I neglected to weather this one (the only photos I could even find of these Pakistani airplanes were taken in England!) so I did it in "as delivered" condition. Really it was a practice build to see if I will do a better one someday. Funniest part of this build is that I didn't even know I owned the kit until I accidently found it in a moving box from when we relocated years ago.....
