Facing with big pile of kits, I decide to start new kit and reduce mess, which is start to spread in other parts of the house. So this He 280 is nice choice, simple kit. Basic content is here.

I start work yesterday and that was little work. Progress in cockpit work, interesting as well it featured first worlds ejection seat, which Heinkel include in few of its types. Basic color is black grey, with just few different details. Instrument panel as well seat belts give its enough authenticy.

Work on wings was made late evening. First it need to cut slots in wing bottoms, there will be placed engines, they have extended elements which can fit into slots. After both wings was placed, horizontal tail is also set to place.

Kit provide two type of engine and I selected one which is used in test in 1942. It have starboard and port parts and they differ, care and attention is need for that. All interior is in derk metal and I will paint that at very end, engine is deep inside and to regret no detail can be seen.

Kit fit good, filles is here just in case, to avoid any possible hole or gap. I also add cockpit canopy and it have options of open or closed canopy. After entire kit is sanded and smoothed, I add landing gear and some small parts. It is ready for painting.... and I don't work on kit even 24 hours!
