Title: Heinkel He 111 H-20, Airfix kit in 1/72 scale, 1957.

Hi all,
Last year, I was given this kit (2013 edition) which was first issued in... 1957 ! It's always available in 2014 and will be replaced in 2015, for the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain by the He 111 P-6 version moulded in totally new tools.
The finished kit has a good rendering apart from the glazed nose with the gun cupola which is too voluminous. I had to rectify the aera of the horizontal empennage.
The kit is named by Airfix He 111 H-20, but it lacks the additionnal small windows above those of the original fuselage (the "H-20" was a transport version, particularly for 8 to 16 paratroops). The night-bomber version should be the he 111 H-20/R3. That could be also a He 111 H-16/R1 with the same armament on the back in the form of an MG 131 in a turret.
