Hi friends,
couple days ago I have received by accident brand new kit of Eduard Grumman Hellcat in 1/72 scale. Overall view give impression that this is nice kit with some minor errors. I start this morning work on this kit and first things was to convert some things. Two details regard to the version F6F-3 is that in the cockpit on starboard side aircraft have instrument console and on other side it have panel only. Also floor have depressed mid section so I cut there part and cement plastic from the bottom, to make desirable depth. The kit provide console on port side so I need to cut it and include various pipelines in that area as well few additional control columns. Cockpit is now painted in basic green color and I will continue work later, maybe today.

Progress today. I have ride some rivets and note that all wire in cockpit are my work, not original kit feature.

Excellent!! :-clap :-clap
How work the riveter? :-think
Excellent job in cockpit!! :-clap :-clap
-
Riveter work good, it could be easy run free hand but good is to make lines.
-
:-ok
This is first time (i saw you) that you have made something on model(as i say enrichment)... I'm right? Why now? :-thing
I would like you do it on every model you build, but i think that it is not your work style, due to lack of time.

Nice work, mate!
-
Thank you friends :)
Sall... why now? You have forget image of Mustang I post some time ago to show what can I do on kits. When you do things like this simply once have a wish to do it strait from box and do them as they are. I make kits as I feel, so I have desire to re-detail all I want. I could do more but simply I was lazy, maybe next time...

I would like to do enrichment on all your kits. I simply love that. ;)
All we know that you can everything with kit, like almost every member on this forum. ;)
I would like to see enrichment on more kits from your side, not only on this! Hope you will have time. :-flo

This kit could be build faster but simply today is not my day. It is just completely assembled and from my point of view it could be also painted today but I have work it just three short sessions today. Hope tomorrow I could take more attention to this kit and start painting. It need to add windscreen and fuel tank.
