This is battling with you all the way!

We've all had something like this problem with fuselage bands, I reckon......either the paint lifts up or it bleeds under. I'll run up to the desk and take a couple of photos and be back soon.

Here's the way I've finally had fairly good success with masking bands: First, cut very thin strips of Tamiya tape for the edge of the stripe and apply to the airplane. Then mask around the thin stripes with more tape and masking paper.

Since I started using this method I've had almost 100% success (not quite, but it's better than it used to be..... ) because the thin strips conform to the curves better.

If y'all hadn't gotten me to use Tamiya tape I would still have problems with this. I used to use automotive pinstriping tape but the result is so much better now!
