I've airbrushed the interior of the fuselage with German Dope Linen from Mister Kit Colors. I know that Eduard suggests to paint in Olive Drab but I think that dope is better because the green bands on the exterior of the fuselage were painted over dope...

Mister Kit Colors are, for what concerns WWI, very nice and on my humble opinion as correct as possible. But I don't like to use those paints; it's not evident. The best way to go with that I've found is to mix with Tamiya thinner... But even so doing, you must be very careful when airbrushing...

Olive streaks were painted over doped linen, therefore couldn't be seen from the interior, therefore you did it the right way :-ok
Always wanted to have those MisterKit colours, but never have ordered it... :-roll I wonder how they would go with paintbrush :-think

Thank you for the confirmation, for the dope.
Mister Kit colors are applying well with paintbrush, I've tried and the result is good.

Yes, but the problem is... the thickness, and also the fragility of "wood blades"...

So, I have airbrushed Tamiya XF-59 as wood base.

Not especially ;-)
It was a day with many airbrushing; and of course, as many airbrush cleaning than airbrushings...

First stage of painting for the engine, with Vallejo colors:

First, Oily Steel with a drop of Glossy Black. Then, Oily Steel + Old Gold.
