And some cost as much as a 1/1 airplane, too! They're awesome, aren't they?

Some years ago I've seen the 109G flying during a meeting in the Ardennes. The model was at 1/2 scale. At low level, confusion with a real one was unavoidable... I was very impressed!!!

We were once climbing out of an airport, going through 1500 feet altitude, when we saw a Piper Cub below us and it was WAY too small to be there. I rechecked my altimeter thinking there was something wrong with my airplane--it turned out we were flying over a R/C airfield!
