Here's second layer of Hu94 on both planes, along with comparison between first and second coat on upper wings...
I reckon I'll need at least two more coats  :-think

A few more decals made their way on today. Notice the national insignia are still wrinkled up from the MicroSol. These are the CA kit decals and really conform great with the setting solution. I had a different ship number in mind but the decals (left over from an old sheet) just couldn't be saved. :-/

Yes, they look great after only an hour or so. I used the same setting solution on my Bulgarian Bf-109 decals (Aeromaster) but the decals reacted strangely--the test decal rolled up and came off of the surface around the edges and stayed that way. It always pays to use a test decal from the same sheet first to make sure everything is compatible.

I know this roll effect, in some reason decal could become crackable and hard to turn back

The final few decals are in place and the entire machine is ready for flat clearcoat. After that will be the final assembly process. Today I offered up the completed skis to the airplane to ensure that everything aligns correctly.

The tailwheel fairing has to be trimmed away to fit the Swedish tail ski and I overlooked that little detail during the build. I was a bit concerned to have to take the Dremel tool and drum sander to the fairing at this late stage, but nothing fell off during the trimming. :-crazy
