Hi everyone, :-salut
Here is my new project. This is F6F-5N Nightfighter. The kit is a 1/72 scale model, and it is from Eduard.
Kit contains plastic parts, color photo-etched parts and painting mask allowing to build one of the four
“Dash 5” the night version Hellcats markings, including one marking for British Hellcat NF Mk.II.
I hope it will be fast built. :))

I have one question for everyone.No.1 told me that engine cowling interior is yellow. But My instructions says me that engine cowling interior is interior green. Can someone tell me what to do?Is it the mistake in instruction or something else, and is it possible that engine cowling interior to vary from model to model(I build F6F-5N Nightfighter)?
-
On link I have post is clearly seen yellow interior color. To claim 100% precise reply is not possible as well I am not sure that anybody sen all Hellcat's and can give proof of the paint of this area. Here you are image, I have seen em few more and all show yellow interior. See link above :))
-
Yes, zinc chromate yellow was common on the -5 except very late ones had black interior of the cowling. I agree that yellow would likely be the best choice.
-
zinc - chromate yellow is possible indeed
