F6F-5N Nightfighter

Hi everyone,      

Here is my new project.This is F6F-5N Nightfighter.The kit is a 1/72 scale model, and it is from Eduard.
Kit contains plastic parts, color photo-etched parts and painting mask allowing to build one of the four
“Dash 5” the night version Hellcats markings, including one marking for British Hellcat NF Mk.II.
I hope it will be fast built.

I painted the interior of the Interior green.

Cocpit is done and fixed for the fuselage.

It is my progress today.
First, I painted all parts of engine.

XF 16 is excellent basic paint for this and here you are more images of Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engine

When I finished the painting, I compiled the engine and fixed photo-etched part for the engine.
