Egg-Mirage V BA
« on: February 09, 2014, 02:29:07 PM »
At the request of my friend Domi when I said him that I was tempted to transform the egg-Mirage 2000 from AFV into a Mirage V BA, he proposed me to create a master for RetrokiT. My first try for such a thing, but a nice challenge. I'm working on it since some months but I preferred to wait to be sure to finish it before to post anything...

Photos are speaking by themselves... ;)

Such a work asks for patience and many, many reflexions...

What was for me the most important obstacle for that conversion set: the exhaust. The one of the kit is too basin and cannot be decently used for a Mirage V BA. So I have to find how to realize a new exhaust. Solution: very few elements of the kit (in grey) and the rest in Evergreen.

But result is very nice!

Now, I have to create the door traps of the main bays and to work on the forward wheel leg, and the project will be finished.

Great job!

I enjoyed making masters when we had our resin-casting business. The first one off the "assembly line" was always a thrill to see!!!
